Pay by Link – Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever a payment is made via a “Pay by Link” (payment link) sent by The Gloss House (“we,” “us,” “our”) to a customer (“you”) through email, WhatsApp, SMS, or any other communication channel.

1. Nature of the Payment Link

A Pay by Link is a secure, one-time payment request generated specifically for your order (purchase, rental, deposit, or additional charges). It is linked to your invoice and is intended for your use only.

2. Link Validity

Payment links are valid for a limited period, typically 48 hours from the time they are sent, unless otherwise stated. Links that expire before payment is completed may need to be reissued upon request.

3. Accuracy of Amount

The amount shown on the payment link reflects the agreed price for your order, deposit, or balance due as confirmed with our team. It is your responsibility to review the amount before completing payment. If you believe the amount is incorrect, please contact us before paying.

4. Secure Payment Processing

Payments made through the link are processed by a licensed third-party payment gateway. We do not store or have access to your full card details. All transactions are encrypted and processed securely in line with the payment provider’s security standards.

5. Confirmation of Payment

Your order, booking, or invoice is only considered confirmed once payment through the link has been successfully completed and verified on our end. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by your bank, card issuer, or internet connection.

6. Non-Refundable Deposits

Any deposit paid via the payment link is subject to our standard deposit policy: non-refundable after 48 hours from the invoice date, with store credit (valid for one year) issued in place of a cash refund where a cancellation is approved.

7. Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment fails or is declined, your order or reservation will not be confirmed, and any items or dates held for you may be released. Please contact us if you experience repeated issues completing payment.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue directly may result in suspension of services and pursuit of the amount owed through appropriate legal channels, in accordance with our standard Terms & Conditions.

9. Currency & Fees

All amounts are charged in AED unless otherwise stated. Any currency conversion fees, bank charges, or card issuer fees are your responsibility and are not covered by us.

10. Sharing of Payment Links

Payment links are issued specifically to you for your order and should not be shared or forwarded to third parties. We are not liable for unauthorized use of a link that has been shared beyond its intended recipient.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from payments made under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Courts, consistent with our general Terms & Conditions.
